The CMP Hydra Grapple Clamshell Plate is built for contractors who frequently move loose material with their Hydra Grapple. These side closeouts meet flush when fully closed, allowing you to scoop, carry, and transfer gravel, sand, soil, and bedding material without losing product. You can still grab boulders, logs, and oversized debris, with the only tradeoff being a slightly shallower bite. Operators can also install a single plate for hybrid use: controlled material handling on one side, full-capacity gripping on the other. For light material work, stick with standard side edges, but for consistent cleanup and transfer, clamshell plates deliver.
